Refund policy

Last updated 2026-05-09. Future Assistants is registered in England & Wales. UK consumer rights apply unless your local law gives stronger protections, in which case those apply.

Credit packs

Credit packs purchased via Stripe are refundable in full within 14 days of purchase if the credits remain unused, in line with the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 cooling-off period for distance selling.

Failed turns / partial actions

If an assistant action fails part-way through (e.g. the email sends but the calendar invite errors), you're charged only for the steps that actually completed — not the maximum estimated cost. Receipts after each turn show the breakdown.

If you spot a charge for an action that failed entirely, email billing@ with the run ID (visible in the assistant's Activity feed) and we'll refund the credits to your balance.

Marketplace purchases

Digital marketplace items (assistants, avatars, drops) are non-refundable once installed or downloaded, again per UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 (digital content exemption). Before installing, you can request a refund within 14 days.

Disputes & chargebacks

If something feels wrong on a charge, please email us first — we'd rather refund directly than have you raise a chargeback. Chargebacks raised without contacting us first may result in your account being suspended pending investigation, per Stripe's standard terms.

Account closure

You can close your account at any time from /account. Closing the account does not automatically refund unused credits — request the refund first if applicable, then close.
