6. AI-generated output
Parts of the product may use AI models (from configured providers). AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or inappropriate. You must not rely on it for Health (medication / chronic illness — held back at v1), dating (held back at v1), regulated financial advice (gated — assistants refuse and recommend qualified professionals), regulated legal advice (gated — same) without independent human verification. See https://futureassistants.co.uk/legal/ai-transparency.
6.1 AI Heart — wellbeing reflection layer (added 16 May 2026)
AI Heart is a software layer FA assistants run on top of your chats. Your "Heart" is your own — the lived, felt thing inside you. "AI Heart" is the FA software mirror that watches what your Heart is doing and reflects it back. The assistant does not have a Heart. AI Heart is not the AI's feelings.
What it does:
- Scores eight dimensions (desire, ambition, empathy, purpose, autonomy, competence, relatedness, self-acceptance) from your own words, only after you give explicit per-dimension consent in Settings → AI → Heart. You can pause or delete any dimension at any time.
- Refuses and routes to a human support service if a message clearly indicates self-harm, eating disorder, abuse, or severe-depression markers. In that situation the assistant will not roleplay or continue in-character; it will name the concern gently once and link you to a locale-appropriate support service. This is a feature, not a bug. It is not therapy and not a substitute for professional care.
- Never uses what it notices for commercial purposes. AI Heart data does not feed pricing, ads, upsells, marketing, retention prompts, or anything we sell — a server-side sentinel enforces this in code.
What AI Heart is not:
- It is not a diagnosis, clinical assessment, therapy session, or medical advice.
- It is not the AI's feelings. The AI does not have feelings and is explicitly instructed in every relevant turn not to claim or imply it does.
- It is not visible to FA staff, third parties, advertisers, employers, insurers, or anyone else without per-incident permission from you.
Important consequences of using AI assistants on FA:
By using FA chat features you accept that the AI Heart safety-routing flow may interrupt an in-character conversation when the system detects clinical-distress language. We design these interruptions to be calm, non-judgemental, and one-time — they don't repeat, they don't escalate to humans automatically, and they don't change your account status. If you are in immediate crisis, call your local emergency services (999 in the UK, 911 in the US, 112 in the EU) — FA is not an emergency service.

6.2 Creative worldbuilders — Alien Languages, Cultures, Religions, Maps, Mythologies, Pantheons, Calendars, Magic Systems (added 18 May 2026)
The Content Factory · Worldbuilders surfaces use AI models conditioned on public scholarship and methodology (e.g. linguistic typology, comparative-religion frameworks, climate geography, conlang construction methodology). They produce original invented content — names, places, customs, lexicons, deity rosters, etc. — based on the brief you provide.
You own the outputs you generate, subject to the user-content licence in Section 5. That said:
- The outputs are AI-generated original work, not transcriptions or reproductions of any pre-existing copyrighted material. Names, places, and details are invented.
- You are responsible for downstream IP claims. If you prompt the wizard with material that resembles or names a third party's protected work (characters, settings, trademarks), or if you publish a generated output that a third party claims infringes their rights, the responsibility for the resulting claim sits with you, not Future Assistants Ltd.
- Do not use the worldbuilders to deliberately replicate protected works (e.g. asking for "Middle-earth", "Westeros", or branded universes). FA reserves the right to reject prompts that name protected IP.
- Outputs may overlap with public-domain mythological / linguistic / geographical patterns — that is expected and not infringement.
7. Third-party services and links
The service may integrate or link to third parties (e.g. Stripe, Supabase, Twilio, model providers). Their terms and privacy notices apply when you use their surfaces or when data is sent to them under your configuration.
